  • The Shelbyville High School Band will host a performance by the Valparaiso University Chamber Winds, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Doebler on Monday, March 4, 2013 @ 7:00 PM.  The Valpo band is making SHS its first stop on their tour of the southern United States.  Host families are being sought to house members of the Valpo band on Monday evening, returning them to school on Tuesday morning.  If you would like to "adopt a college band kid" for a night, please email Mr. Smith @ rosmith@shelbycs.k12.in.us.

  • The SHS Band Boosters will be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month throughout the school year.  All parents of students in the SHS Band and anyone interested in supporting the SHS Band without a child enrolled in the band program is invited to attend.  Meetings begin at 7 PM and last approximately one hour.

  • Congratulations to Erich Davies and Alton Anspaugh for being selected to the 2013 IMEA Honor Band.
